Mandala Rise is crafted entirely from premium, seasoned teak wood — a hardwood known for its strength, moisture resistance, and natural oils that keep it stable for decades. Each piece is hand-selected for grain quality, air-dried and kiln-dried to prevent warping, and finished with natural oils or wax.  Teak’s warm golden-brown tones, subtle grain variations, and the patina it develops over time make every lamp unique.

What are the lamp’s dimensions and weight? Will it stand stable?

The lamp measures 133 cm (H) × 48 cm (W) with a 3 cm base depth.  Total weight is 17 kg (Arc 9.7 kg, Sphere 3.2 kg, Base 4.1 kg).  Its weighted construction ensures excellent stability on flat or slightly uneven floors.

How is the lamp crafted? Who makes it?

Mandala Rise is designed by Jayanti Kumar and handcrafted by 15–20 master artisans from Saharanpur and Noida.  Each unit takes 70–110 mandays, involving slow wood seasoning, meticulous carving of deep grooves, multi-stage sanding, sphere turning, and natural finishing.  Every piece is handmade — no two lamps are ever identical.

How does the lighting work? What are the LED specifications?

A hidden warm-white LED strip (2700K–3000K) runs along the inner curve, creating a soft halo.  Specifications include:

• 2835/5050 LED chips 
• 8–12W/m energy consumption  • 700–1000 lm/m brightness 
• 12V/24V input with high-quality driver 
• 30,000–50,000 hour lifespan

How do I assemble the lamp? Is installation difficult?

Assembly is simple and tool-free.  The lamp arrives in three parts — base, arc, and sphere — each with pre-cut guides that fit together smoothly.  LED and wiring are pre-fitted; just slot the arc into the base, position the sphere, and connect the adapter.  Takes just a few minutes.

How do I care for the teak wood and LED?

• Wipe occasionally with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. 
• Avoid harsh chemicals or commercial polishes. 
• Apply natural oil or wax every 8–12 months if needed. 
• Keep away from water, heat sources, or prolonged direct sunlight. 
• LED is maintenance-free — keep the inner groove dust-free for best diffusion.

Mandala Rise uses responsibly sourced teak, finished with plant-based oils, and built with long-life LEDs.  Packaging is made from Dharaksha mycelium + crop waste and is fully compostable within ~60 days.  Dispose by composting, burying in soil, or adding to wet waste — never in plastic/dry bins.
